May 8, 2006, St Petersburg, Florida:

The cement truck arrives and the pouring of the sculpture base begins. The following pages document how concrete base was built.
The process: included the layout of the shape, the placement of the steel and finally how it was poured, smoothed and finished. This took the rest of the day.

May 9, 2006, St Petersburg, Florida:

At 10:00AM the truck arrived from New Haven, CT. A Lull was rented and the unloading of the chairs began.
The plaque was fabricated by Watson Memorial on South Quebec Street just a few blocks where the artist grew up. Watson Memorial also made the stones for the artist's Grandparents and Father.
