"Evacuspot" - 2015

Seventeen identical stainless steel figures are installed in neighborhoods across New Orleans. Commissioned by the New Orleans Arts Council and Evacuteer.org, these sculptures mark designated gathering points where residents can assemble for transportation out of the city during a mandatory evacuation.
To raise public awareness of this emergency service, all 300 of New Orleans’ transit drivers wear a uniform pin featuring the Evacuspot figure.
