"Sun Serving" - 2026

Location: Aurora, CO
Commissioning Agency: Private Commission.
Commissioned to create a sculpture for a new garden, the artist was asked to incorporate a functional sundial into the design. For inspiration, the artist drew on images of the annual Paris waiter race, where participants must finish a footrace while carrying a bottle of champagne and a glass on a tray. In this sculpture, instead of champagne, the waiter carries a working, polished brass, sundial.
