Mixed media, canvases and paper prints focusing on alternative photographic processes using precious metals. Among my preferred photo materials are bed sheets. Bed sheets are a flexible and familiar canvas for images that may be mounted, framed or used as panels in assemblage. Often my works on paper or bed sheets bear images from found negatives, sketches or textile prints so that a layering of woven graphics, accidental tones and photo montage evoke the past. New interests include exploring digital technology along with historical photo processes to construct and reconstruct images of the recent past and near future.
