ARTIST'S STATEMENT As an artist, one hopes and dreams that an audience will be engaged and ultimately amazed. Fostering when the combined elements will cross the border from the ordinary into the extraordinary is the challenge. Reclaimed, recycled, found - whatever term is used for the sea of everyday objects that surround us, these are my precious materials. It seems that by adding them to the natural rhythm of my working process, they lead me into uncharted territory. My sculpture is included in "Trashformations East", a traveling exhibition. It's next venue is the Copia American Museum in Napa, California. |
