In February 2009 Douglas Kornfeld was awarded a sculpture commission at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. The selected artwork work, installed July 6, 2009, is a 23 foot high, stainless steel figure dramatically posed mid-stride. The work is located outside the main entry of the new ISU Student Recreation Center.
